KDDI CABLE INFINITY
KDDI Cable Infinity(KCI) is working on 365x24 basis for constructions and repairs of telecommunication submarine cables for worldwide data communications, not only for international but also domestic cables in Japan.
Furthermore, KCI is the 1st self-sailing vessel in Japan, which can handle electrical power cables, adding to usual telecommunication cables or resorce research systems.
KDDI OCEAN LINK
The KDDI OCEAN LINK(KOL), the high-tech cable ship interconnecting countries in the world by submarine cables, went into service in 1992 for optical submarine cable's laying, burial, repair and maintenance. The ship is equipped with the latest cable handling equipment and various high tech equipment which increases the safety and efficiency of cable laying work, and is actively operated for new international communication networks.
